Page Me

Books, library finds, thrifted reads, and stories that stay with you.

Welcome to Page Me

Page Me is where books, library finds, thrifted reads, reader notes, loud opinions, and real-life reading habits.

— a place for books, library finds, thrifted reads, reader notes, loud opinions, and the stories that stay with us after the cover closes.

This space is not about reading the most books or performing intelligence for the internet. It is about reading honestly. Reading for comfort. Reading for curiosity. Reading because some stories help us name what we feel, question what we were taught, and remember that we are still whole people with inner lives.

Here, you’ll find what I’m reading, what I’m borrowing, what I’m adding to the cart, what I found secondhand, and what I cannot stop thinking about.

What You'll Find Here

What I'm Reading

Current reads

Library Finds

Library holds, borrowed books, free resources, book sale finds, and the quiet magic of using what is already available.

Trifted Books

Used books, secondhand gems, affordable shelves, surprise finds, and the joy of discovering something good for less.

Reading Life

Bookmarks, mugs, tote bags, reading habits, slumps, soft rituals, audiobooks, notes, and the real-life pieces around the books.

Read More, Spend Less

Practical ways to find books, save money and keep reading accessible in real life.

Reading should not feel like a luxury hobby only certain people can afford. This section is for the people who love a good thrift-store shelf, the people watching their budget, the people using the library hard, and the people trying to keep a reading life alive while real life is doing the most.

Library Cards

Free books, holds, digital reads, programs, and resources people forget libraries offer.

Library Book Sales

Low-cost books, fundraiser sales, used-library copies, and how to shop them without getting overwhelmed.

Thrift & Used Books

What to look for, price differences, condition checks, hidden gems, and when secondhand is worth it.

Audiobooks & Digital Reads

Libby, Hoopla, library apps, eBooks, audiobooks, and reading when sitting down with a physical book is not realistic.

Loud Librarians is where the softer reading room gets a little louder. This is for the books that made us pause, argue with the page, send a voice note, write a note, or stare at the wall for a minute.

Why This Space Exists

A Few Gentle Notes

Did You Know?

Libraries

Libraries honestly feel underrated. A free library card can open access to physical books, audiobooks, ebooks, films, research tools, and quiet places to think.

Free library cards
• Borrow physical books
• Free audiobooks & ebooks
• Seed Library offers free vegetable, herb, and California native flower seeds

• Quiet study/work spaces

Library Book Sales

One of my favorite hidden gems. Many libraries quietly sell donated or older inventory books for incredibly low prices. You can slowly build a thoughtful collection without spending hundreds, and sometimes the best finds are the ones sitting in overlooked sale corners.

• Hardcover books: around $3
• Paperbacks: around $1–2
• Vintage and unexpected finds
• Affordable personal collections

Thrifted & Used Books

There’s something beautiful about books that have already lived a little life before finding you. Worn pages, handwritten notes, old covers, random bookmarks left behind — secondhand books carry history with them. Some of my favorite finds have come from thrift stores, used bookstores, and neighborhood exchanges.

• Thrift stores
• Used bookstores
• Facebook Marketplace
• Little Free Libraries
• Community book exchanges

Audiobooks & Digital Reading

Reading doesn’t always have to look traditional. Sometimes life is exhausting, busy, heavy, or overwhelming, and audiobooks become a softer way to stay connected to stories and learning. Digital reading can make books more accessible during long days, caregiving, commuting, or burnout.

• Libby
• Hoopla
• Free library audiobooks
• Ebooks and digital borrowing
• Reading on your own terms
