About The Foundation

Created by caregivers who had to build what didn’t exist.

Yelloux Cove Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting family caregivers and people with mental and developmental disabilities.

Our Mission

We believe compassion shouldn’t cost your life

The Yelloux Cove Foundation exists because care shouldn’t destroy the people giving it.

Too many families are trapped in a system that calls itself “help” while refusing to help—forced to navigate laws that block treatment, agencies that deflect responsibility, and a culture that shrugs at suffering.

We’re here for the caregivers who lose pieces of their own lives keeping someone else alive. For the ones whose ambitions, income, and sanity get swallowed by a system that ignores their existence. For the people with mental and developmental disabilities who deserve care that is humane, consistent, and dignified.

Our work is to make care possible.
We fight for policy change, legal reform, and real resources—so that when institutions fail, there is still somewhere to turn.

We’re building what should already exist: access, respect, and relief for everyone caught in the chaos of caregiving and untreated illness.

Our Vision

Because no one should have to suffer for doing the right thing

We imagine a world where caregiving for people with mental and developmental disabilities is recognized, supported, and valued as essential labor.

Where families aren’t blocked by consent laws or punished by broken systems.
Where treatment is accessible, housing is stable, and no one has to sacrifice their own future to keep someone else safe.

A world where caregivers — from teenagers to lifelong parents — are seen, supported, and given the tools to live fully.

That’s the world Yelloux Cove is building: one where compassion is protected by policy, dignity is part of healthcare, and no family is left invisible in the name of privacy.

Who We Serve

Yelloux Cove stands with family caregivers who support people living with mental or developmental disabilities — especially those facing consent barriers, legal gray zones, and systems that pretend not to see them.

Most caregiving programs were built for physical disabilities. We’re changing that. Our work centers the caregivers who are too often left out — siblings, young adults, single parents, and low-income families balancing impossible responsibilities without pay, recognition, or rest.

Programs (Coming Soon)

Real programs take real care. We’re laying the groundwork to make sure every initiative is sustainable, accountable, and built to last.
