Where My Story and This Space Begin
Yelloux Cove came from real life, not strategy. It came from years of caregiving, fighting through broken systems, and trying to survive situations that would shake anybody. I didn’t set out to build a brand. I didn’t set out to create a movement. I was just trying to breathe and stay present in a life that never slowed down.
I’ve been caregiving since I was young. Way before I knew what that word meant. Way before I understood that most people never deal with what my family had to handle. And even though the responsibility kept getting heavier, I carried it. I adapted. I did what needed to be done.
I am introverted. I find my peace in stillness. I am selective with my energy. I help from the edges and observe from the center. And even with that nature, I kept stepping in because I didn’t have a choice. Life put me here, and every lesson came the hard way.
Yelloux Cove reflects all of that.
It’s calm. It’s real. It’s lived.
It’s a mix of solitude, survival, intuition, and responsibility.
The Reality of Caregiving in a Broken System
Caregiving isn’t a pretty story for us. There was no guide, no handbook, no smooth path. We learned through emergencies. Through medical errors. Through denials. Through being ignored. Through professionals who didn’t listen. Through nights that felt longer than they should.
We didn’t qualify for programs. We didn’t check boxes. We didn’t get the help that people assume caregivers get. We were part of the group that the system never plans for. The ones who fall in the cracks and then get blamed for falling.
Everything we learned was self-taught. Everything we figured out came from surviving another day. That’s what shaped the core of Yelloux Cove.
It’s not an influencer platform.
It’s not polished.
It’s real life speaking back.
What You’ll Find Here
This space holds many layers because real life has many layers. Nothing about caregiving or mental health sits in one lane. So Yelloux Cove doesn’t either.
Here’s what you’ll find throughout the site:
Affordable Finds and Practical Tools
I share the things I use, the things I love, the products that make living a little easier. Budget matters. Stress matters. Mental load matters. So everything I pick is meant to help people who don’t have unlimited money or endless energy.
You’ll find:
-
home products that make daily life easier
-
tools for burnout, routine, and mental clarity
-
items that support caregivers
-
comfort items for heavy days
-
small dopamine boosters
-
items that help with organization and peace
Ethical Leaders and Voices We Highlight
I also talk about people who are doing real work. Ethical work. Honest work. Leaders who take risks and tell truths the world doesn’t always want to hear.
People like:
-
Jasmine Crockett
-
Jolanda Jones
-
and others who stand up for justice, community, and reality
Yelloux Cove is a quiet space with a loud sense of right and wrong. So we highlight people and businesses that reflect that.
Lifestyle for People Who Live on the Edge of Everything
This platform is lifestyle because my life is lifestyle.
It’s not luxury lifestyle.
It’s not curated perfection.
It’s the lifestyle of someone who is in the mix, but not swallowed by it.
Who sees everything but stays grounded.
Who cares deeply but also needs space.
I talk about:
-
home
-
wellness
-
products I use
-
things that support a calmer life
-
creative work
-
spiritual intuition
-
reflections from the heart
-
moments of daily peace
-
the complexity of caring for someone while caring for yourself
This is the lifestyle of someone who has survived too much to pretend.
Who This Space Speaks To
The audience here is wide because caregiving does not start at one age. Some people start as kids. Some as teens. Some as young adults. Some later in life. Responsibility hits at random. And the world rarely checks to see if you’re ready.
So Yelloux Cove speaks to:
-
caregivers who started young
-
adults navigating a lifetime of responsibility
-
families dealing with mental disabilities
-
people who feel unseen by the system
-
introverts who care deeply but move quietly
-
spiritual people searching for meaning and grounding
-
anyone who needs tools for surviving heavy seasons
If you’ve ever had to figure things out alone, you’ll feel at home here.
Why This Space Exists
Yelloux Cove exists because we were part of the forgotten group. The people who needed help but didn’t get it. The ones who had to learn everything from scratch. The ones who had no guidance and still kept going.
I wanted to build something that gives people what we never received.
Honesty. Tools. Support. Understanding.
A lens into the reality that most people don’t talk about.
A space where your experience is recognized without judgment.
This is not a platform built for attention.
It is built for alignment with truth.
The Yellow Cove Foundation
How the Nonprofit Came Forward
As the blog grew, I realized the need was bigger than my story. Families like mine don’t have places to turn. The help that exists is limited, slow, or not built for our kind of reality.
So we created the Yellow Cove Foundation — a nonprofit born from lived experience, not theory.
Who the Foundation Serves
We support:
-
caregivers who didn’t get guidance
-
families dealing with mental disabilities
-
people who fall between systems
-
those with no support and no resources
-
households dealing with burnout and instability
-
people overwhelmed by the responsibilities they never chose
Our foundation exists because we know what it feels like to be left without answers.
What We’re Building
We plan to create:
-
programs that provide direct support
-
tools for navigating caregiving
-
mental health resources grounded in real life
-
help that meets people where they are
-
solutions outside of the typical nonprofit box
We are doing it differently because the traditional path leaves too many people behind.
